Biography:

Straight out of Tel-Aviv, Ori Shochat is bringing his unique Hip Hop/bass sounds for over a decade now. He is most known for being the leading Hip Hop DJ in Israel, winning competitions and spinning at the right parties, as well as producing club hits again and again, year after year.

Ori started DJing at school parties at the age of 12. At the age of 19 He moved to Tel Aviv and immediately linked with the leading Hip Hop forces in town. Producing beats and organizing & promoting the first Hip Hop showdowns in Israel.

Releasing his own mixtapes alongside DJ Alarm, Ori is hosting Israel's biggest Hip Hop radio show on Radio Tel Aviv and spinning at clubs all around Israel thru 2000-2010. Ori also produced Palestinian Hip Hop crew DAM's debut album, and was their tour DJ for 4 years at shows across Europe and the US.

Along his career Ori shared the stage with international artists such as 50 Cent, Missy Elliott, De La Soul and more.

Recently Ori linked up with the local Dubstep scene and Trap Music scene - he produced 2009's biggest dancefloor hit in Israel and is DJing and working with international stars such as Borgore, Flux Pavillion, Doctor P and Tomba. Ori's new release is a new mixtape alongside DJ Alarm entitled "Vibetown" and has exclusive appearances from artists such as Erykah Badu, DJ Jazzy Jeff, The Beatnuts and more.
